Donor Program Reviews
These papers provide an opportunity to review donor
involvement in rural finance and to learn about the types of interventions
donors have supported in the past. Future operations can benefit
by learning the lessons of this experience. We invited international
donor organizations involved in rural finance to submit brief papers
giving their perspectives on any or all of the following:
- Rural finance policies and programming trends
- New directions in rural finance
- What has worked and what are the "gaps" in rural
finance programs
- Reflections on how to improve project design and monitoring
