works since 1972, with an emphasis on those published
within the last five years. Literature summaries focus
on major initiatives and findings of recent strategies
in rural finance.

The conference is built around six
key themes. Each key theme has been critically captured
by a noted lead author whose paper provided the keystone
for a panel session between practicing organizations,
donor institutions, academic researchers and other members
of the rural finance community.

of best practices highlight innovative ways in which
rural finance practitioners have overcome challenges
faced in various regions around the world.
